Midweek is here, and it’s a perfect time to pause, breathe, and soak in a little inspiration before the weekend rush.
And today, we have a story that’s all about ambition, courage, and stepping boldly into the next chapter of life.
📌 So, who is the diva?
Rajasthan’s very own Manika Vishwakarma has just been crowned Miss Universe India 2025, in a dazzling ceremony held in Jaipur on August 18.
Originally from Sri Ganganagar, Manika has already made waves as Miss Universe Rajasthan 2024, and now, she’s gearing up to represent India at the 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand later this year.
After the coronation, Manika expressed heartfelt gratitude: “I want to thank my mentors, teachers, parents, friends, and family for everything. I aim to do my best to represent India at its finest and bring the crown home,” she told ANI.
Her journey is a reminder that pageantry isn’t just about glamour.
“Rather than struggle, we have a journey of preparation. We need to inculcate self-confidence and courage in ourselves. Everyone had a big role to play… I thank everyone for nurturing talent,” Manika said.
And she didn’t just stop at winning the crown, she spoke about the lifelong impact of these experiences: “Pageantry is not just a field; it’s a world that makes you a character. For your entire life, you get an opportunity to inspire others. It’s not just a reign of a year, it’s for life… the personality and benefits you gain will always stay with you.”
On Instagram, she shared a glimpse of her mindset: “Be the embodiment of Magic… To close one chapter while beginning another, on the same day, is not an accident. It’s alignment. Growth doesn’t always wait for a pause. Sometimes, we rise while we release. With the grace of a queen and the grit of a dreamer, I chose to trust the timing, honour the past, and boldly walk into what comes next. Grateful to my mentors, teachers, and confidants — thank you for always believing in me.”
The excitement was shared by others too.
Miss International India, Roosh Sindhu, said, “This is what all my fans wanted… I hope to do my best for India on the international stage.” Actor and jury member Urvashi Rautela added, “The competition was very tough, but we have the winner with us… She will surely make us proud at Miss Universe.”
And let’s not forget the talented runners-up: Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh is the first runner-up, Mehak Dhingra from Haryana is the second, and Amishi Kaushik secured the third spot, each a reminder that pageantry is as much about the journey as the crown.
As we celebrate Manika’s triumph this Wednesday, it’s worth remembering: success isn’t just about a single win; it’s about preparation, perseverance, and the courage to embrace transitions.
Sometimes, you have to close one chapter to step boldly into the next, and trust that the timing is always right.
